AEPS-GROUP power converters of JETDi series in cases of industrial BRICK formfactors are designed for DC mains, typical for decentralized power supply systems with use of batteries: 12 (10.2-15 VDC), 12W (10.2-30 VDC), 24 (20-30 VDC), 24W (20-60 VDC), 27 (20-40 VDC), 27W (15-50 VDC) and 48 (36-75 VDC).
JETDi series consists of JETDi20, JETDi30, JETDi60 and JETDi120. The numbers state maximal output power in Watts, however to ensure long-term reliability the loading coefficient should be chosen from 0.7-0.8. Therefore, the series units are optimized for average power of 15, 20, 50 and 100 500 W respectively.
Electrical features: all single channel JETDi units utilize output synchronous rectification up to 27 VDC output, which significantly increases their efficiency. Galvanic isolation of outputs in two-channel variants, which broadens the functional application in creating equipment, with various connections of output channels: independent dual outputs, parallel-connected dual outputs, series-connected outputs to create high voltage output and common ground dual outputs. JETDi units include standard set of service functions.
Constructional features: series units JETDi are made in compact dimensions and together with high efficiency the units achieve unprecedented power density of 49 to 83 W/inch3. Case base has stiffening ribs and also serves for conductive cooling. Considering that all components are constructively connected to the base and submerged in hardened heat-transferring potting – resistance to and durability against mechanical stress is unique. There are also LP (low profile) variants with height reduction of 10-20 % available. Such planar design improves composability of units in the equipment.
Due to copper casings and increased efficiency (up to 93 %) – JETDi units are able to operate without any heatsink. On request it’s possible to support with models of case operating range up to -60° to +130° C.
AEPS-GROUP JETDi units are optimal to be utilized in application fields 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11 – in environments without any significant mechanical factors (impacts and vibrations) – drones, hot air balloons and gliding devices, meteoprobes. Also applied in all types of land transport – railway locomotives and wagons, cars, tracked vehicles. The units are also an optimal fit for telecom equipment, mining, supercomputers, radars and informational displays and screens, located in outdoors conditions. At the same time, the units are able operate in Arctic and Antarctica, in mountains at all heights and in cold or hot deserts etc.
