The series units, besides standard operation in a vast class of radioelectronic and electrical equipment, are meant to be used in critical missions: operation in emergency conditions, operation in case of compromised sealing of the equipment compartment, short-term higher than max power delivery, short-term full operation during surge or drop of input voltage.
AEPS-GROUP power converters of JETDi series in light-weight cases of BRICK form-factor are meant for universal input of DC mains 28W (16-50 VDC) with output power up to 150 W in standard case operating temperature range of -60 °С … +125 °С. Also available inputs – 48W, 48.
Unique feature of the series is their specialization to operate without a heatsink.
Electrical features: all single channel JETDi units utilize output synchronous rectification, which significantly increases their efficiency. JETDi units offer symmetrical dual channel models with common output.
Constructional features: series units JETDi are made in compact dimensions and together with high efficiency the units achieve unprecedented power density of 49 to 124 W/inch3. Case base has stiffening ribs and also serves for conductive cooling. Considering that all components are constructively connected to the base and submerged in heat-transferring potting – resistance to and durability against mechanical stress is unique.
AEPS-GROUP JETDi units are optimal to be utilized in application fields 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11 – in environments without any significant mechanical factors (impacts and vibrations) – drones, hot air balloons and gliding devices, meteo-probes. Also applied in all types of land transport – railway locomotives and wagons, cars, tracked vehicles. The units are also an optimal fit for telecom equipment, mining, supercomputers, radars and informational displays and screens, located in outdoors conditions. At the same time, the units are able operate in Arctic and Antarctica, in mountains at all heights and in cold or hot deserts etc.

The JETDI series is engineered for the most extreme environments, offering an industry-leading operating case temperature range from -60°C up to +125°C. Unlike standard industrial converters that top out at +85°C, JETDI modules can survive deep freezes in high-altitude aerospace applications and extreme heat in tightly packed, unventilated supercomputers or engine compartments.
To achieve the absolute minimum footprint and weight, JETDI converters are housed in ultra-compact, light-weight copper cases without mounting holes. They are designed specifically for direct PCB (Printed Circuit Board) through-hole soldering. This makes them the perfect choice for high-density electronic boards where every millimeter and gram matters, such as in drones and portable radar systems.
JETDI modules are highly versatile and cover all standard heavy-duty and avionics bus voltages. The standard input is “28W” (16-50 VDC), which is ideal for 24V commercial and 28V defense/aviation systems. We also offer standard telecom “48” (34-75 VDC) inputs, as well as an ultra-wide “48W” (9-80 VDC) option for systems with highly unstable power sources or heavy battery voltage fluctuations.
Absolutely. The combination of a specialized potting compound, an internal ruggedized design, and a full copper enclosure ensures that JETDI converters operate flawlessly in unprotected equipment compartments at both low and high altitudes. They are heavily utilized in avionics, UAVs (drones), and all types of heavy transport where resistance to rapid pressure changes, moisture, and high-frequency vibration is mandatory.
Despite their extremely low-profile design (only 10 to 11 mm in height), the JETDI series delivers massive power. For example, the JETDI100 (100W) model achieves a power density of up to 124 W/in³, and the JETDI150 (150W) model pushes 105 W/in³ in a tiny 58×37 mm footprint. This allows engineers to design incredibly powerful systems without compromising on board space or adding unnecessary weight.
